Hawk Freed By Westborough Police Officers

This hawk was in trouble after it flew into someone's home.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Perhaps this winged one was looking for a place to spend St. Patrick's Day. But inside someone's house is no place for a hawk.

Yesterday, Westborough officers jumped to assist when they received a call that a hawk that had flown through a window got trapped inside a residence. Officers were able to successfully get the hawk to an open door and watch it effortlessly fly away.

As police remind us, "We respond to a wide variety of calls in order to assist our community."
