HEALTH DIRECTOR - Westborough Board of Health

The Town of Westborough Board of Health seeks applications from qualified individuals for the full-time position of Health Director. This position directly supervises three employees and is responsible for directing and coordinating all administrative and supervisory work in the field of public health administration, health education and environmental sanitation. This position also interprets and enforces the provisions of the State Sanitary Code, State Environmental Code and rules and regulations of the town's Board of Health. Applicants shall possess a Master's degree or equivalent or have four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualified candidates will be a Massachusetts Registered Sanitarian and Massachusetts Certified Health Officer. Massachusetts Licensed Soil Evaluator and Massachusetts Pesticide Certification in categories 46 and 47 are preferred or will be required within one year of appointment.
