Icy Conditions, Slick Roads: Freezing Rain Advisory for Monday
Drivers are being alerted to possible slick conditions on the roads Monday afternoon and evening.

MASSACHUSETTS — Drivers hitting the road on Monday afternoon and evening should be cautious, with warnings of possible icy pockets on the roads throughout Massachusetts, but concentrated in western and central Massachusetts.
A freezing rain advisory has been issued and remains in effect through 11 p.m. in Franklin, Hampshire, Hampden, Worcester and Northwest Middlesex counties.

National Weather Service warns of light, freezing rain, as well as some fleet, with possible snow accumulation of less than an inch, with a trace of ice.

The light patches of freezing ice and fleet will occur largely between 5 and 10 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
