Police Search for Break-in Suspect

Westborough Police helped in the search for Northborough break-in suspect.

The is currently investigating a series of three separate breaking and enterings which have occurred over the past two days.

On July 11, police were dispatched to 231 South St. for a breaking and entering in progress. The victim was home at the time of the incident. The victim observed the suspect cutting the screen to a rear window and attempting to enter through a bathroom window. The suspect fled the scene toward a wooded area near the house. The suspect was described as being a white male, approximately 20-30 years old, wearing jeans, a blue, short-sleeved shirt, a gray or blue baseball hat and eyeglasses. A search of the immediate area was conducted by Northborough, and Massachusetts State Police.

Two other breaks were reported on July 10 at 1 Belmont St. and the other one was reported on July 11 at 99 Crawford St. In both of these instances, the suspects forced their way into the house via a rear window. Stolen from both homes was copper piping. The suspects cut out most of the pipes out of the house causing extensive damage.
