'Scouting For Food' Stocks Westborough Pantry

WESTBOROUGH, MA—This one couldn't be easier. You're going grocery shopping anyway. You've got food in your cupboards anyway. Put some in a bag, leave it out, and help out a neighbor who needs it. You may not even be aware that your neighbors need it.

Scouting For Food has been a tradition for more than 20 years and is the largest food drive to benefit food pantries across the country.

In many towns and cities, on Saturday, Nov. 3, residents are asked to place items on their doorstep by 9 a.m. The Scouts will pick them up that morning.

The Boy, Girl and Cub Scouts of Westborough are assisting the Food Pantry in Westborough again this year by collecting items for its annual, seasonal food drive.

For those who wish to donate, on Saturday, Nov. 3, place your donation in a recycled box or bag by 9 a.m. Throughout the day, the scouts collect and deliver these donations to the food pantry.

The Westborough Food Pantry is located at the Forbes Community House, and donations can be dropped off there directly Tuesdays from 9-11 a.m. and Thursdays from 9-11:30 a.m. and 6:30-8 p.m.
