Screen on the Green Returns With New Season of Movies

The annual free movies on the lawn series returns next month.

The Westborough Public Library, Westborough Recreation Department and the Westborough Farmer’s Market announced this week the third season of “Screen on the Green.”

These free outdoor movies are on the big screen at the Bay State Green on Union Street in Westborough on Thursday nights at 8:30 p.m. from July 9– 30 and at Lake Chauncy beach on Aug. 6.

The schedule of movies includes:

July 9: Grease Sing-a-Long
July 16: The Sandlot
July 23: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
July 30: Big Hero 6
Aug. 6: Finding Nemo – will be shown at the Lake Chauncy beach

Moviegoers should bring a blanket or lawn chair, snacks, and some friends. Come down to a nearby restaurant for dinner or pack a picnic. Uhlman’s Ice Cream is also there every week selling ice cream, too.
