Town Of Westborough Publishes Community Wellness Guide

It is designed to empower users to take a closer look at issues of mental health, racism/anti-racism and the intersections between them.

September 17, 2020

Over the past six months, our community, along with the rest of the country and the world, have faced a pandemic caused by the spread of a deadly virus, which has impacted nearly every aspect of our day-to-day lives and taken a toll on our emotional health. Also during this time, Americans have been a part of a surge in the Black Lives Matter Movement, leading to a new level of exposure to the reality of our country's long-standing problem of systemic racism. This unprecedented time of isolation and collective stress has led to an increase in distress and mental health struggles. In response to these times we've created a monthly publication called Community Wellness Guide: Emotional Wellness-Race- Equity, which is designed to empower users to take a closer look at issues of mental health, racism/anti-racism and the intersections between them.
