Town Of Westborough Statement Against AAPI Hate Violence

The Westborough Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Westborough Youth and Family Services and the Westborough Youth Commission stand in sorrow and solidarity with Asian and Asian-American communities, who have been facing an overwhelming and escalating series of racist attacks. The news of last week's horrific targeting of Asian-owned businesses in Atlanta, Georgia, and the murder of eight people, six of whom were Asian women, follows some 3,800 hate cases against Asian Americans across the nation. We join our community and nation in condemning these violent attacks and mourning the lives senselessly lost.
