Tree Falls On Westborough Home After Night Of High Winds

The tree fell on the garage roof and on part of the main house roof.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Wicked winds whipped through Westborough on Monday night, bringing a tree down on one unlucky home.

The tree crushed the roof of the home's garage and damaged part of the roof of the main home. Branches and debris sprawled over the roof and driveway. The Westborough Fire Department warned residents that power outages were reported across the state and to take extra precautions.

Wind gusts of more than 50 miles per hour swept through Massachusetts overnight. A wind advisory remains in effect until 3 p.m.
