Vance Gilbert, Live at Steeple Coffeehouse 3/30
Singer-songwriter and storyteller Vance Gilbert comes to Steeple Coffeehouse for a springtime concert on Saturday, March 30, 2019

The one and only Vance Gilbert will be performing at the Steeple Coffeehouse in Southborough, MA on March 30, 2019. Vance is widely known for songwriting and storytelling as well as his quick wit and masterful stage presence. He will make you laugh, he will make you cry! Considered by many to be an integral part of the national folk scene, Gilbert's approach to the acoustic singer songwriter idiom is significant. Gilbert's compositions, while frequently employing sophisticated melodies and harmonies that attest to his jazz roots, remain sublime attestations to the storyteller's craft.
Opening for Vance is an amazing duo all the way from the UK called The Black Feathers, who are well known for their beautiful songs and harmonies. Americana, Folk, and Acoustic Indie Rock sensibilities coexist comfortably in their musical world, with Hughes’ guitar work buoying the kind of harmonies often only heard in family bands. It's been an incredible couple of years for the The Black Feathers. Their debut album was met with critical acclaim and broke into the Top 10 in the iTunes Country chart and the Official UK Americana Chart.
