The Town of Westborough Department of Public Works seeks applications from action oriented individuals eager to join a professional and enthusiastic team and serve in the full-time position of Water and Sewer Operations Manager. This position leads an eight member staff with two direct reports and manages preventive maintenance operations, repair work, and associated reporting for the town’s water distribution and sewer collection systems in accordance with all related federal and state requirements. The position reports to the Director of Public Works.
Applicants shall possess a Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related field and at least five (5) years of work experience in the operation and maintenance of a public drinking water distribution system and a sanitary sewer collection system or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Grade 3 Distribution Operator License is required. Must have a valid driver’s license. The anticipated hiring range for this grade S-6 non-union, salaried position is $70,940 - $83,311 per year, DOQ; the maximum of the grade is $95,735.
