Westborough Boys Head To Tennis Finals

The Rangers head to the state finals.

WESTBOROUGH, MA—Westborough beat Longmeadow 4-0 to head to the MIAA state finals in boys tennis.

The Rangers headed into the tournament with an 15-2 record, seeded second. Top-seeded Algonquin had knocked out Shrewsbury to battle Westborough for the Central Division 1 title.

But Westborough was triumphant, heading to the semi-finals, where the team beat Longmeadow. Now, the Rangers take on Acton Boxboro in the state finals State Division 1 tournament on Thursday, June 15, at 4 p.m. at St. John’s in Shrewsbury.
