Westborough Boys Lose Division 1 Tennis Finals

WESTBOROUGH, MA—The Westborough Rangers fell to Acton-Boxborough in the MIAA state finals in boys tennis, losing the state division 1 final 4-0.

Westborough beat Longmeadow 4-0 to head to the MIAA state finals.The Rangers headed into the tournament with an 15-2 record, seeded second. Top-seeded Algonquin had knocked out Shrewsbury to battle Westborough for the Central Division 1 title. But Westborough was triumphant, heading to the semi-finals, where the team beat Longmeadow.
