Westborough Could See Up To 6 Inches Of Snow

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Another round of snow showers is on the way, prompting a winter weather advisory from the National Weather Service from noon today until 7 p.m. Feb. 19.

Flakes should start falling late Thursday afternoon, through Friday leaving Westborough with up to six inches of accumulation by Friday night.

Snow will begin in the mid-afternoon Thursday and precipitation might not let up until early Saturday morning, NBC10 Boston meteorologist Aaron Perry said in an email.

"It is looking like the coastal system is going to take a more southern track, leading to a slower and more prolonged scenario for Southern New England," Perry said.

This Afternoon- Snow likely, mainly after 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 27. Light northeast wind. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Tonight- Snow likely, mainly after 8pm. Cloudy, with a low around 23. Northeast wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Friday- Snow likely, mainly before 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 31. Northeast wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Friday Night- A chance of snow, mainly before 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 23. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
