Westborough Fire Dept. Put Out Stop & Shop Roof Fire

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough fire crews made quick work of a fire that broke out on the roof of a Stop & Shop on Tuesday night. No injuries were reported.

The fire happened overnight on the rooftop of the Stop & Shop on Lyman Street. Fire officials said it was a small fire and used the fire truck ladders to reach the fire. Crews from Northborough and Southborough helped put the fire out.

The cause of the fire is unclear.
