Westborough HS Football Preview: Season Starts Friday Against Grafton
The school-year season for the Rangers starts this Friday. It's Coach Tinglof's first year, and he predicts a successful season.

It’s Head Coach David Tinglof’s first season with the Westborough Rangers, and he hopes to bring his past successes to his new squad.
Westborough takes on Grafton High in its opening game on Friday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m. at Grafton.
Tinglof, who spent the last ten years as head coach at West Boylston High School, notes that the team made the playoffs the last four years, and won the Superbowl Championship in 2012.

“I hope to bring that winning tradition back to Westborough HS,” Tinglof told Patch. “Taking over this program will be a great challenge and something I look forward too. I’m excited to be here and the players and coaches have been working very hard this season so far. The community, school and parents have been great supporters of our program and it has made our transition a lot easier.”
The year should see great performances from Captains and Seniors Dan Lis (quarterback), Anthony Caspariello (fullback/defensive end) and Tucker Morin (lineback).
