Westborough PD Celebrate Halloween With Safe Trick-or-Treating
Westborough police brought the candy to trick-or-treaters in an effort to maintain a safe holiday.
WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough police changed up Halloween traditions and brought the candy to trick-or-treaters this year.
Police were posted at six different locations throughout town to give out candy and take pictures with trick-or-treaters. The police cruisers were decorated and officers were dressed in festive costumes, armed with sanitized candy bags for each trick-or-treater. The goal was to give kids a safe and healthy alternative to trick-or-treating this year.
Several officers got creative with their own costumes, dressing as peanut butter and jelly or a box of donuts.
