Westborough Police Looking For 3 Men Suspected In Theft

Police believe the three men were involved in the theft of a woman's wallet from her shopping cart in a supermarket.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough police are looking for three men they believe worked together to steal a woman's wallet in a supermarket.

Police said the suspected theft happened on July 2 around 11 a.m. at a local supermarket. Police did not specify which supermarket in town. The three men are suspected at another location that same day wearing different clothing, police said.

Each man played a different role in the theft — one acted as a lookout while another distracted the woman. The third man stole her wallet from her purse that was in the babyseat of the shopping carriage with her still standing at the cart, police said.
