Westborough Real U10 Team Wins “Play, Eat, Score” Contest

The Westborough Real U10 team won a visit from New England Revolution midfielder Darrius Barnes and pizza party from Papa Gino's.

New England Revolution defender Darrius Barnes surprised players from the Westborough Real U10 team during their practice on June 16 as part of the New England Revolution and Papa Gino’s “Play, Eat, Score” contest. Barnesvisited their home field in Westborough, where he ran soccer drills and provided tips during the team’s practice. He also signed autographs and posed for photos with the young soccer stars.

After practice, Papa Gino’s threw the team a pizza party and distributed prize packs, which included tickets to an upcoming Revolution home match. The Westborough Real U10 team is the fifth of five local New England teams to win this year’s “Play, Eat, Score” contest.
