Westborough Small Biz Profile: Jennifer Juliano Of Keller Williams Real Estate

"My slogan for many years has been, 'I'll Make It Happen. You'll Make It Home.'"

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Jennifer (Jenna) Juliano was born in and lived in Southborough for the majority of her life until moving to Westborough in 2014. This real estate agent graduated Algonquin Regional High School in 1990 and attended Katharine Gibbs School in Boston for Travel and Conference Planning, which proved to be the beginning of learning of different cultures as well as coordinating logistics.

"Very helpful in real estate!" she said.

Juliano is a longtime agent for Keller Williams Realty, based in Framingham-MetroWest/Chestnut Hill, with multiple offices locally and worldwide. She started with the Westborough office of Keller Williams in 2000 when the company was brand new to the New England region. There were were less than 10 or so agents at that time, and it has grown exponentially since then. Juliano now works out of the Framingham and Newton office.

"I have an adult son referred to as 'ManKid' on Social Media, and I have a deep love for the ocean, beach days, reading non-fiction, random traveling or 'adventures,'" said Juliano, "cooking at home despite my fondness for also dining out, yoga and other exercise, and learning about new people, places, and ideas.

What made you decide to go into this type of business? Many people have said they got into real estate because they "like looking at houses" or "they enjoy helping people." Although that holds true for me too, I was initially attracted to it for the unlimited methods of marketing real estate has, the unlimited income potential, and the coordination of multiple events that go on behind the scenes with more people and processes involved in any one transaction than most people realize. So being able to help coordinate or oversee things to make sure as much as possible that everything falls into place as it should and keep everyone calm, happy, and focused--I really enjoy that.

What do you like best about it? I take a lot of pride in seeing all the moving parts come together as smoothly as possible and having all the people involved understand the process, stay on track, and enjoy the experience. I also love helping sellers get their houses ready for the market by helping them with staging, prioritizing what needs to be done, and of course, the before and after photos! I have done that not just for my own sellers, but for other agents as well who needed a third eye. My slogan for many years has been, "I'll Make It Happen. You'll Make It Home."

Biggest struggle? I wouldn't call it a struggle, although occasionally people think that because my signs say "Keller Williams Chestnut Hill" that I may not sell around here, which is inaccurate. My physical office locations don't dictate where I work, and my company's model is not strictly territoried for that item anyway. it's not common that I am found working in the office regardless, not for any other reason than I enjoy working in the outdoors with laptop in tow whenever I can, when I'm in work mode anyway.

What do you see for the future? I am working on expanding my business reach both locally and globally through a few avenues I've been introduced to. I've been asked by a few to resurrect a real estate blog, so stay tuned!

Politics and business: how has it affected your business, or business in general? There are a number of ways that politics has affected the real estate industry throughout the years and will for the future, some better than others. I've never been a big fan of mixing business talk with politics, so I'll "plead the fifth" for now.

Name another local business you’d send customers to: It's hard to pick one as I love supporting other businesses having I had both parents own their own business. Just Breathe: A Salt Room across from Arturo's on East Main Street is a very cool (and healthy!) place to visit for a number of workshops and good health. I also refer to as many people as possible to my insurance agent, Patrick Tobiasson, of Dolan and Maloney Insurance here in Westborough since he has done a fantastic job for me personally, and my clients have liked his thoroughness as well.
