The Westborough High School varsity softball team will open the state tournament Thursday with a first round game at St. Peter-Marian.
The game is at 2:30 p.m.
The Rangers are seeded 10th in the 11-team 2013 Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Softball - Central Division 1 Tournament, according to the bracket.

The Westborough-St.Peter-Marian winner advances to the quarter finals at 1 p.m. Friday at second-seed Nashoba Regional. Nashoba (15-5) earned a first round bye.
