Westborough Water Main Break Closes Road
Flanders Road from East Main Street to Longmeadow Avenue was closed.
WESTBOROUGH, MA — A water main break closed several roads in Westborough on Wednesday.
The Westborough Fire Department tweeted a video showing water rushing down the street in town. The department warned commuters that Flanders Road from East Main Street to Longmeadow Avenue was closed until the issue could be resolved. Drivers in the area were cautioned to find another route.
In the video, brown water flooded the street and spilled onto lawns and through intersections.
