What makes your mom extra special?
Brittany: I never once doubted that I could count on her, for anything. She is selfless and incredibly strong. She is also the best Mimi to my sons. I am forever grateful that she's mine, and for the wonderful example she has set for me now that I'm a mother too.

John: Even though I didn't always follow her advice, she always backed my play. I could always loot my mom for unwavering support and love. Whether I was stateside or halfway across the world I always knew she was cheering me on. Now at 26, I have accomplished so much, and that is very much in part to the upbringing my mom provided me.
Natalie: Our mom is extra special because she has dedicated her life to being a support system for all five of us. She is there for all five of us in whatever capacity we need. For me, she has always supported my endeavors and cheered me on no matter the outcome. As I end my first year of college, I know that I could not have accomplished everything I have so far without her. She has dedicated her life to all of ours, and we will always love her for that!
Christian: What makes my mom so special is that she is patient and nice when others aren't. When I mess up, she helps me with my problems like no one else can.
Maya: What makes my mom extra special is she makes me tea every morning, and I don't even ask for it. Every night she says goodnight and love you to me. When I get off the bus she always asks how my day was. She sings with me in the car, and when I feel sad she picks me right up.
Why do you feel your mom deserves the spotlight? Our mom deserves spotlight because she always gives the spotlight to us, and now it is her turn. Our mom has always been there to celebrate our accomplishments - the big and the small. We think it is her turn to be celebrated, for the incredible person that she is.
