Westborough's Gibbons Middle School Awarded $10M MSBA Grant

Sarah Gibbons Middle School received a $10 million facilities grant from the MSBA.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough's Sarah Gibbons Middle School received a $10,280,548 facilities grant from the Massachusetts School Building Authority. The grant was part of the MSBA's approved final audits for thirteen projects from 8 Districts totaling over $74 million.

“Every project undertaken by the MSBA is a step toward creating the 21st century learning environment that all Massachusetts students deserve,” Treasurer Goldberg said. “We are delighted to have made these important investments in Massachusetts schools.”

The full cost for the Gibbons Middle School renovation project is $26,678,734.

“Approval of the final audits brings these vitally-needed projects to a successful conclusion, which benefits students all across the Commonwealth,” said Executive Director Jack McCarthy.
