California's 'Habit Burger Grill' Coming To Wilmington In Sept.

The Wilmington location will be the first in New England for a chain that specializes in "charburgers" and milkshakes.

WILMINGTON, MA — The California-based fast food chain Habit Burger Grill is coming to Wilmington, after the franchisee received a victualer license from the Board of Selectmen, Monday.

Adam Quinn, who owns multiple Dunkin' Donuts locations in town, plans to open the new burger franchise at 196 Ballardvale Street in September.

"I think there's a real need for some food use on Ballardvale," Quinn said. "I have zero creative bones — I understand the franchise model."
