WILMINGTON, MA — Former candidate Mark Nelson is running again for the Wilmington Board of Selectmen in the special election to replace Jomarie O'Mahoney, he said Friday.

Nelson took out nomination papers for the Sept. 2 election, he confirmed.

O'Mahoney resigned from the board June 14 due to a move out of town and the remaining board members recently voted to set the special election. Candidates have until Monday to take out nomination papers and until Thursday to return them.
