CTW announces SUMMERSTOCK 2015 line up! Register early to receive a discount.

SUMMERSTOCK 2015 - CLASSES START June 29

Session I June 29 – July 10

Elementary Workshop Production “Cinderella”

Our two week theatre workshop session is perfect “no pressure” atmosphere for our kids. Acting is about feeling comfortable, getting silly and becoming confident – theatre workshop is the perfect place for that. Unlike our Mainstage productions, every child gets a speaking part who wants one. Though we encourage and work with the kids on learning lines – it is not required. We keep the atmosphere light and fun as we focus more on the process of teaching kids about theatre and building self-esteem as oppose to the quality of the final production. Grades 1-5. Two Week Session. M-F. 9am-12pm. Cost $285. Performance 7/10.

Imagine That!” ~ Preschool Week

Our “Imagine That!” week is a blast. Kids have fun learning a bit about acting, emotions, controlling the body and speaking in front of people. They play lots of age appropriate games and also work together on crafts that become their “props” and parts of their “set”. It is a wonderful way to build self-esteem in kids and help them to learn more about working with other people. July 6 - July 10. Ages 3-5. M-F. 9am-11:45am. Cost $140. (two additional weeks offered in Session II)

Session II July 13 – July 24

Middle School Main Stage “DEAR EDWINA”

Grades 6-8. Two Week Session. M-F. 9am-4pm. Cost $435. Performances 7/24 & 7/25.

Dear Edwina is a heartwarming musical about the joys of growing up, from the creators of Junie B. Jones, The Musical. The show’s heroine, Edwina Spoonapple, is an advice-giver extraordinaire, like a spunky, singing version of Dear Abby. Told through a show-within-a-show format, Edwina and her friends share wisdom on everything from trying new foods to making new friends through clever, catchy and poignant songs. It’s “Glee” for kids, but adults will love it just as much as the children they bring!
