CLOSURES: Church Street, Wildwood Eastbound To Close For 5K Race

WILMINGTON, MA — There will be road closures in Wilmington Saturday for a 5K road race. Due to the Winter SOLEstice 5K, Church Street will be closed to all traffic between Adams Street and Middlesex Avenue from 9 a.m. to noon, police said. Additionally, Wildwood Street will be closed to eastbound traffic at Middlesex Avenue, for approximately half an hour at 10 a.m.

The SOLEstice 5K is hosted by Sole Sisters Running Club, a Wilmington all-women running club. It begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Wilmington Town Common. Race day registration is $35, and is available from 8:00am to 9:30am inside the Wilmington High School cafeteria, 159 Church St.
