Detail Officer Confiscates Marijuana and Knife, Assault Reported at Roast Beef Shop
The following information was taken from the Wilmington Police Department logs. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
The following is an excerpt from the Wilmington Police log from Monday, June 16, to Tuesday, June 17.
Monday, June 16
- At 10:19 a.m. a detail officer reported a person with possession of marijuana. A small amount of marijuana was destroyed at the scene and a knife was confiscated.
- At 2:11 p.m. a tractor-trailer took down wires on Glen Road. Police located the vehicle and gave a warning for driving on a restricted road.
- At 7:58 p.m. a Jere Road resident reported damage to the exterior of their home, as well as to the interior of the residence while she was not at home.

- At 11:19 a.m. a Faulkner Ave. resident said a man appeared to be intoxicated and stumbling around the area. Officers located the man and brought him home to the custody of his wife.
- At 2:22 p.m. a past assault was reported at Greg’s Roast Beef with the suspects leaving the area in a blue Explorer. A motor vehicle was damaged during the altercation. Billerica Police were notified to check the area of Bob’s Store. One person was transported to Winchester Hospital.
- At 7:05 p.m. a needle was reported near the drive up ATM at Bank of America on Main Street.
- At 7:25 p.m. a fireworks complaint was received on Blackstone Street. The homeowner was notified that he must stop if he was setting off fireworks, but he was uncooperative.
- At 8:55 p.m. a woman reported she was concerned about a family member who may be on pills according to a friend, and he was in a white truck. Police located the man and transported him to Winchester Hospital.
