Fallen Tree Closes Part of Burlington Avenue (Rte. 62)

WILMINGTON, MA - Sunday's wild weather with snow and extreme winds is taking down trees all over the state and Wilmington is no exception.

Police closed Rte. 62 at Harris Street for a tree and wire across the road just after 8:45 a.m. Sunday morning.

All of Eastern Massachusetts is under a high wind warning from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday when winds are expected to be 25 to 35 mph with gusts between 50 and 65 mph.
