Family Treasure Chest Opens Its Doors In Wlmington
Mom and Pop store buys and sells merchandise, offers consignment and barter services.
Wilmington has a new "mom and pop" store and the owners are delighted to be in town.
Family Treasure Chest, owned by Tom and Lauren Siracusa, opened its doors at 362 Middlesex St. in January. The couple had purchased the business in 2009 when it was known as Children's Treasure Chest on Route 38 in Tewksbury.
Ultimately, as they expanded to the offerings of the store, they changed the name and have now relocated to a space they feel is better suited to store's long-term success.

"It really was just a matter of rent," said Lauren Siracusa. "We got a really great deal and (the new address) is an excellent location."
Family Treasure Chest sells a wide variety of merchandise on consignment. Shoppers can also find bargains on second-hand clothing, collectibles, small electronics, laptops, Internet tablets, computer accessories and even cell phones and GPS units.
