Ice Bucket Challenge, Benefitting ALS Research, Comes to Wilmington Sunday

The Wilmington Farmers Market is offering the change for residents to complete the challenge for charity across from Town Common.

If you’re on social media, you’ve likely seen plenty of friends posting their video version of the ice bucket challenge. If you’ve been looking for the opportunity to participate and raise money for ALS research, Sunday is your chance in Wilmington.

The Wilmington Farmers Market is offering a chance for residents to film their ice bucket challenge on Sunday from 10:30-1:30 p.m.

According to the group’s Facebook page, they will provide the buckets, ice, water and towels.

All residents need to bring is their phone or video camera to the Farmers Market, located across the street from Town Common.
