Intensive Special Needs School Coming To Wilmington
The SEEM Collaborative's Therapeutic Learning Center, currently in Melrose, is moving to Fordham Road in Wilmington.

WILMINGTON, MA — A specialty center for public elementary and middle school students with intensive special needs is moving to Wilmington this summer, Cummings Properties said.
The SEEM Collaborative's Therapeutic Learning Center, currently located in Melrose's Beebe School, will move into 260 Fordham Road, a 40,000-square-foot Cummings facility.
The building will also house the SEEM Collaborative's Assessment and Intervention Center.

The nonprofit education agency provides specialty services for students from Wilmington and dozens of other districts. The Therapeutic Learning Center "helps students with intensive special needs learn communication, academic readiness and general life and social skills," according to the news release.
"The SEEM Assessment and Intervention Center is an interim alternative educational setting that combines curriculum-based learning with counseling, physical and occupational therapy, and other support services," the release continued. "For up to nine school weeks, students attend class daily while educators and clinicians work to determine the appropriate long-term educational placements for them."
