A Love Letter From Brian Symonds To His Wife
"When I say she's the total package, it's an understatement."

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we asked Patch readers to write a love letter to that special someone and let us deliver it. This is Brian Symonds' love story about his wife:
“I met my amazing bride 13 years ago. This girl is on fire! I just had to meet her. When I say she’s the total package, it’s an understatement. She is now the mother of two great kids -- all because of her, of course. You don’t truly know what love is until you find it. Well I won the lottery with her! I can’t even describe how I feel every time I she walks in the room. It’s just incredible!
This is our 10-year anniversary this year and I just want to tell all the peeps who haven’t found that yet, marriage isn’t always easy. It’s work. You want that amazing person across the room in your life? Work at it! It’s not owed to you. You haven’t “earned it” it’s work! Go after it. Put your best foot forward. You have nothing harder to work for but this! Show that amazing someone why they picked you. Don’t you ever forget that this person can choose anyone in the world. Why should they pick you and why should they stay with you? You’ve earned nothing. Never forget how to show that love. Express it every day. Cheers to everyone and GO PATS!”
