New Summer Programs at Shawsheen Tech
A variety of enrichment (vocational and academic) and test prep classes available to high school and middle students.

BILLERICA, MA - Shawsheen Tech is expanding its Summer offerings this year during the month of July at its 100 Cook St. facility in Billerica. There will be a variety of enrichment (vocational and academic) and test prep classes available to high school and middle students at very affordable prices. Some of the offerings include:
- SAT prep classes (only $99 for 12 hours of expert instruction - not a better value around)
- College Application and Essay Course (current 11th graders will have the Common Application and College Essay done before Senior year begins - talk about a stress reliever)
- Enrichment courses such as Creative Writing and Dystopian Literature (Grades 6-9) as well as Film Analysis & Screenwriting (Grades 9-12)
- Kitchen Fundamentals for Kids (topics will include sauce basics, knife skills, Italian Day, baking, grilling, frying, sauté, and bakery delights for Grades 6-9)
- "Strategies for School Success" (emphasizing communication, organization, time management, conflict resolution, career planning for Grades 6-10)
- Return of the popular "Tech Jam" for middle school students (includes class at the Microsoft Store each day)
- Sports Clinics (Basketball and Football) as well as Aquatics programming
