North Reading High School Athletic Trainer Jenn Hondras and her boyfriend Dan have started a fundraiser for the victims of the marathon bombings. They are handmaking shoe charms to raise money for the One Fund.

Identity of Horn Pond Drowning Victim Released
The identity of the man who drowned after a canoe tipped over in Horn Pond last week has been released.
According to a report from the Woburn Police Department, the victim is Pedro Pereira of 138 Kate Lane, Tolland, CT. Police do not have his exact age but Woburn Police Chief Robert J. Ferullo Jr. said he was in his 30s.
According to the police report at 6:05 p.m. police responded to Horn Pond after hearing a canoe had overturned with two males, who had been fishing, inside. According to the report, one male, who was later identified by police, was able to swim towards the shore and officers were able to pull him out of the water when he was about 30 yards from land.

Potbelly Sandwich Shop Opening Today
The new Potbelly Sandwich Shop is set to open it's doors in the Wayside Plaza, located at 2 Wayside Road, today.Â
The new restaurant is located in the former Fresh City location.
According to the Potbelly Sandwich Shop website, the Chicago-based company began in 1977 as a small antique store run by a nice young couple who decided to boost their sales by selling sandwiches. The sandwich shop, with quick service, offers a variety of hot and cold sandwich options made from fresh cut meats and vegetables. The store also offers cookies, milk shakes, soups and salads.
