Obituary: David A. Sarich, 66, of Wilmington

David A. Sarich, age 66, of Wilmington, passed away on May 2nd, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Carmel J. (Bredin) Sarich of Wilmington, loving father of Mary Teresa Carter & her husband William of Boston and Carolyn Sarich of Portland, ME, grandfather of Josephine Carter, dear son of the late Rudolph and Mary Sarich, step-son of the late Ann Sarich, dear brother of Nancy Varmette & her husband Leonard of TX, step-brother of Robert Galiano and Pattiann McDaniels of New Jersey, uncle of Kristen & her husband Michael Sharples, nephew of Christian & Margaret Sarych of Ohio. David is also survived by his sister-in-law Mary Bredin of Quincy as well as many friends.

Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rt. 62) Wilmington, for a funeral on Monday, May 7th, at 9:00 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, at 10:00 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, May 6th, from 4-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in David’s name can be made to the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049 or to the Annual Appeal, The Trustees of Reservations, 200 High Street, 4th Floor, Boston, MA 02110.
