Over 100 Returning To Wilmington In-Person Learning

WILMINGTON, MA — Over 100 students will switch to in-person learning as Wilmington Public Schools return to full in-person models in April, according to survey results.

According to a March 24 presentation to the School Committee, 117 students across all grades will switch from remote to in-person learning. Just six students, all high schoolers, will switch to remote learning.

An additional eight students currently being homeschooled or attending private schools will re-enroll in Wilmington, according to the presentation.

Under new state rules, remote learning will only be permitted for families that choose it at the elementary school level April 5 and middle school level April 28. Wilmington school officials are planning to bring elementary school students in full-time April 5 and older students in full-time April 26.
