Police Log: An Arrest For Assault and Battery, a Possible Car Break and More

Wednesday, Dec. 11
2:23 a.m. Police received a report of a domestic incident between boyfriend and girlfriend on Burlington Avenue. A Wilmington female was taken into protective custody, and released shortly after.Â
6:36 a.m. A caller on I-93 south reported concern about another vehicle possibly impersonating police. The vehicle in question was a Chevy Tahoe and had pulled up behind the reporting person, threw blue lights on which were in the front and rear of the vehicle, then turned them off. There was no match found for the registration reported. State Police were notified.Â

9:47 a.m. A caller on Salem Street reported his vehicle's door appeared to have been left open and the glove compartment had been gone through. The responding officer spoke with the registered owner who reported nothing was missing from the vehicle.Â
11:49 a.m. Officers responded to a laundromat on Lowell Street and arrested Paul Joe Mulford, 13 Church Ave., Woburn, on charges of indecent assault and battery on a person 14 and over.Â

5:03 p.m. An individual came into the police station to report a friend had stolen two video games from her Hillcrest Street home at around noon and she believed they had already been sold to GameStop. Officers responded to GameStop and served a Billerica man summons for larceny and receiving stolen property under $250.Â
