Registration Open for Eighth Annual Wildcat Tennis Clinic
The clinic takes place August 11 and 12 and continues August 14 and 15.
Wilmington tennis players are invited to take part in the eighth annual Wildcat Tennis Clinic, which will run in August for sixth through ninth graders.
The clinic, which is four days this year, will run on August 11 and 12 and August 14 and 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day on the Boutwell School tennis courts.
"The clinic is a developmental and support program for those who intend to play high school tennis," said organizer Matt Hackett, who is the Wilmington High School girls tennis coach.
Current varsity players will assist Hackett in running the camp through instruction and demonstrations.
The cost of the clinic is $150 per player, which includes a t-shirt and advanced instruction.
Players grade six through nine are invited to the camp, though space is registered to 12 participants and does fill up fast.
