Road Resurfacing May Cause Traffic Delays In Wilmington

The projects affect several local roads and are scheduled to begin Thursday morning.

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Department of Public Works will begin grinding and resurfacing several local roadways starting Thursday at 7 a.m. Inclement weather could delay the start of the work. During the project, local residents will have access to their homes, but may encounter delays. The work is also expected to result in lane closures and complete road closures at various times.

The roads affected include:

  • Middlesex Avenue from Glen Road to Federal Street
  • Woburn Street from Kajin Way to the I-93
  • Hillside Way from Chestnut Street to the Burlington town line
