Study: Wilmington is Among Most Irish Towns in Massachusetts

WILMINGTON, MA - If St. Patrick’s Day seemed a little more festive in Wilmington than in other places around Massachusetts, that might be due to the fact the town is one of the most Irish in the state.

According to a study by NerdWallet.com using U.S. Census Bureau data, Wilmington has the ninth highest percentage of residents with Irish heritage with 35.5% percent.
