Thank You Wilmington for Three Great Years
With my final day at Patch on Friday, I wanted to say thank you to the readers in a great town.

There have been plenty of changes throughout Wilmington in the three-plus years that I have been the editor for Wilmington Patch. Businesses have come and gone, elected officials have changed seats, and countless students have made their mark in the halls of schools in town.
Today, I’m here to write about another kind of change that is coming. Friday is my last day with Patch and my last day as editor in a town that I have thoroughly enjoyed covering since I started this job in January 2011.
So before I head off to my next journalism experience, I wanted to just take a moment to say thank you.

Thank you to all of the people in Wilmington who made this experience memorable for me.
From the student section yelling my name at home games to residents pulling me aside in a local business to talk about the latest town happenings, I always enjoyed interacting with the people in town.
