Mother Nature's gift of snow as spring begins may have closed school for the day in many areas, but Wilmington Schools will start on time.

WILMINGTON, MA - There will be school in Wilmington on Monday and officials say it's going to start on time.
While neighboring communities have called for a delay or cancelled school all together due to the first day of spring storm that began Sunday night and is expected to continue through the Monday morning commute, it's business at usual in Wilmington.Â
After 48 hours of off-again, on-again storm warnings, the National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Watch for Wilmington and the surrounding area from Sunday night through Monday morning.

Wilmington is expected to get four to seven inches of snow from this weather system.
Forecasters say snow may fall heavy at times during the overnight hours with some snow persisting into rush hour Monday morning. Snow is expected to end by late Monday morning.

Hazardous travel is expected Sunday night and into the Monday morning commute. Visibilities could be a quarter mile or less at times throughout the storm.
