Patch asked readers what businesses they want to come to town this year. Wilmington spoke with almost one voice: Trader Joe's.

WILMINGTON, MA — Patch asked readers what businesses they want to see come to town in 2020, and Wilmington residents spoke with one voice — almost. Commenter after commenter agreed: they want a Trader Joe's. Currently, the nearest locations is in Burlington.
One resident even linked to a Facebook group devoted the cause of bringing a Trader Joe's to town.
Thirteen readers called for a Trader Joe's, beginning with the first comment.

"Just Trader Joe's. It will resolve all our problems. Please please please Trader Joe's," wrote Steven DeMarco.
"Healthy counter service types of places like Pressed, B.Good. Local coffee shops, local ice cream shops," wrote Nicole Bennett Santana.

A couple of other readers agreed with Bennett Santana in calling for healthy fast casual food, while another agreed on the need for a local ice cream shop.
A couple also called for a bar.
"A place where every body knows your name. (brewery, pub, live music, sports bar) or we just keep spending money in other towns," wrote Derek Feeney.
A couple of commenters referenced the recently-opened Trump merchandise store in town. One wanted a second store, while another said he'd like to see a Democratic Party-themed store.
A few fast food chains, including Popeye's, Dunkin' Donuts and Jersey Mike's also got name-checked.
