Wilmington Dance Academy Students to Perform in The Nutcracker

Thirty-six students of Wilmington Dance Academy are preparing to perform in North Atlantic Dance Theatre’s The Nutcracker. These young dancers auditioned and were cast in the inaugural production. Six of the dancers are also apprentices with the company.

The Artistic Director of North Atlantic Dance Theatre is Boston-area native Lucy Warren-Whitman, who is also a teacher at Wilmington Dance Academy. North Atlantic Dance Theatre (formerly associated with North Atlantic Ballet) is a vibrant Boston-based dance company creating and recreating new and original works.

The Nutcracker will appear at Larcom Performing Arts Theatre, 13 Wallis St. in Beverly for one weekend only: Friday, Dec. 16 at 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 17 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 18 at 4 p.m. For more information on The Nutcracker visit http://www.thelarcom.org/thenutcracker or call (978) 922-6313.
