Wilmington Fun On The Fourth Celebration Canceled

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington's 2021 Fun on the Fourth Celebration has been canceled, the Fourth of July Committee said Wednesday.

The committee said they hope for a return in 2022 "once conditions improve."

"We wish our community members well during these times and appreciate all of the work our dedicated Committee continues to put forward to plan one of Wilmington’s most cherished weeks," the committee said. "We look forward to seeing you down the Common in the near future."

The 2020 celebration was also canceled due to the coronavirus. 2021 marks the committee's 40th year.
