Wilmington Hit By Rash Of Unlocked Car Break-ins

Police in Burlington and Woburn have been reporting the same problem since mid-August.

WILMINGTON, MA — Multiple unlocked cars were broken into overnight, Wilmington police said Friday.

The break-ins occurred around Columbia Street, Adams Street and Allen Park Drive between 2 and 5:30 a.m., the department said.

"We are looking for anyone that may have surveillance footage showing people walking through the neighborhood," the department said. "Anyone with information is asked to call the WPD at 978-658-5071."

Wilmington's break-ins follow a similar wave in Burlington and Woburn going back to mid-August.
