Wilmington Interim School Superintendent Resigns

WILMINGTON, MA – The Wilmington School Committee sent an email to parents Wednesday morning announcing that interim School Superintendent Joanne Benton has resigned, according to the Wilmington Apple.

Her last day will be March 31.

Benton told the School Committee she would provide support and guidance to the next Superintendent.i

The School Committee must now tackle the task a of naming a new interim superintendent to guide the school system through the remainder of the school year.
