Wilmington Man Killed, Second Injured in Billerica Motorcycle Crash

Billerica Police said a Wilmington man was killed and another local man was injured during an early morning motorcycle crash.

On the Billerica Police Department website, police said a single motorcycle crash with two people involved was reported at about 2:30 a.m. on Bicknell Road in Billerica.

According to police, Christopher Murphy, 24, of Wilmington, was killed in the crash.

In addition, Keith Lucas, 22, of Wilmington sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. Lucas was transported to Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, police said.

The Massachusetts State Police reconstruction team is working with Billerica Police to investigate the crash.
